Peter Pan Birthday #2

Five years ago I put together a Neverland birthday party for my at the time Peter Pan obsessed 4 year old... History has repeated itself!  We have another newly turned four year old in the house that doesn't want to grow up.  Instead he wants to be living his life fighting pirates, hanging with the lost boys and sprinkling on the pixie dust! Austin happens to have a birthday 2 weeks after Carter so he joined in on the fun too!  Come see our birthday adventures for Carter-4 and Austin-2.

My babies are growing up... NO!
Carter's birthday morning... Mike and I made him a tee pee to play pretend with.
Everyone knew that his favorite things are Peter Pan and Snoopy.
 Austin's turn!
He looks pretty happy to have the attention on him.
Homemade gifts from your brothers are the best...

On to the big birthday party.  It has been a while since I threw a big home party... There is a reason they are so few and far between, they take a lot of time and work!!  We turned each of the rooms upstairs into a theme... This is the Nursery.  Do you see the city in window and Peter's shadow in the lamp shade?
This was the Lost Boy's Hideout... We put drapes on the lower part of the loft beds for little forts.

The big boy room was the Pirate Cove... Do you see Hook's hook?
Swords were the party favor for the boys and tinker wings were for the girls.
The loft was the Indian Camp :)... All these places were important to know later when the kids had a treasure hunt.
Goodies in the kitchen... I found a cool way to fold the napkins to make them look like Pan's hat.
 Themed snacks.
Meanwhile, the kids were having swords fights...
Tossing rings over Tick Tock's nose...
 Hunting for treasure...
And destroying the pirate's ship!  Tinkerbell had first shot at it.
 Austin gave it his best.
And Peter Pan swept in and saved the day!
All that hard work deserves some cake!
Ouch... Austin hasn't learned how to blow out candles yet!
 Poor baby!
 Frosting makes it better.
The kids got to add pixie dust to the cupcakes.
In the end, Tick Tock was taken down!  Happy Birthday Boys--Hope you enjoyed your special day :).  Mommy & Daddy love you so much!
It was a busy week for Peter Pan!
