The last part of our trip was spent at Great Grandma's house... What a comfort this place brings as I remember spending my childhood going there. Maybe the kids could sense my comfort, but I was amazed how peaceful they were upon arrival (aside from Carter trying to get into everything).
The boys spent lots of table time doing games, puzzles, coloring, etc.
The next day, the 2nd cousins came over and the real fun began ;)... The babies chasing the dog & and the girls chasing the babies. And yes, Carter did fall in the pool- good thing he had his vest on!
Little R was cute as can be!
We went to a park to play and kind of took over the place... All the swings were taken by 2nd cousins!
The four year olds!
The older kids helped out a lot!
Teeter Totter fun!
One of those 'mommy special moments' captured!
Playing in the ball park dirt.
Cousin Kaci and some of the wee little ones.
All 10 of them together!
Aunt Nancy playing along!
Everywhere that we go, a girl takes Jakey under her wing... This time it was Savannah!
Dinner time at the modified kid's table.
The first borns found their own spot to eat!
C enjoyed the baseball game and the beer bottle with Dad!
The chaos in action...
Great grandma Poach with 10 of the 14 great grandchildren.
The older kids making games up.
The 3 year olds... Only a few weeks apart, same beautiful skin and sunkissed hair :).
Morning walk along Bear Creek to get the energies out before we left.
My mom and her sister in law, my Aunt Kate. Very nice visit, we also saw Aunt Judy but didn't take any pictures.
Back in the car for hours of movies, activities and silliness!
Carter did really well entertaining himself for so long!
What fun we had and made memories of a lifetime! Thanks for everyone who hosted such a crazy family ;)... We love you all!
