It is amazing how inovative soon-to-be four year olds are! Joshua's creativity amazes me on a daily basis... It seems that he can turn just about anything into something that he wants to play with. As most of you all know, his latest toy obsessions are Peter Pan, pirates, Noah's ark... Anything ship related! We have recently been to a few friend's house's that have pirate ship playsets and he is totally taken in! We go home after the playdates and his bed is a pirate ship, the couch is a pirate ship, his toy box, his other toys, etc. The other day during his quiet time he was playing with legos and this is what he came up with all by himself:
It is fully equiped with sails, a bird's nest, flags, an anchor, canons & guns.
Oh, you can't forget the gang plank on the back!
As much as I love to see his creativity thrive on creating things that he likes, we are so excited to get him a real pirate ship playset for his birthday (shhh, don't tell Josh!), he will be sooooo THRILLED.
