What I got for Kindergarten Graduation...

It is hard to believe my little man has gone and finished kindergarten already!  It has been a year of learning (for both of us!), many moments of struggle (between the 2 of us) and many more moments of accomplishments.  I think we have been counting down his last day of school since spring break and it finally came... But, not without a phone call from the Head Master telling us that Josh's thumb got dislocated from an innocent soccer game played at recess.  Sigh... Poor J!

A trip to Urgent Care only for them to tell us they don't take X-rays, so on to the ER.
He was a brave little boy!  He ended up missing his Kinder Graduation, I think I was more sad then him!
With his thumb pulled back into place and wrapped in a splint, he was able to sneak into his end of the year program... Do you notice the curious onlookers?
He participated like nothing ever happened :).
He still passed Kindergarten and came home with a cap, bear, yearbook and bandage!
That evening the school had an end of the year family picnic- J went right back playing soccer and the newest craze, Trash Packs!  More on this crazy obsession to come!
It takes precision flicking to win this game!
Many of the little siblings were found moving sticks (big sticks!)... K & little J later told me they were building a tree house.  Great teamwork for these future classmates!
K with the stick collection... Those little kids moved A LOT of sticks together!
 Can't forget the playground!
 Or the blanket peekaboo games!

It was a busy day FULL of excitement, but the picnic was a perfect closing of a great school year.  Summer, we are so happy you are here!!!!
